The Habitat Big Kids Backpack is the flagship of the Habitat range – combining premium functionality, kid-friendly design and powerful sustainability credentials. Made from 43 recycled PET bottles, this generously sized backpack is ideal for primary and tween-aged kids.

Featuring our exclusive Threatened Aussies print and built with durable RPET fabric, this bag includes 5 zipped compartments, a padded laptop/tablet sleeve, dual drink bottle holders, and clever extras like a side phone pocket, D-loop for bag tags and internal clip for wallets or coin purses. Fully PVC-free with bonded fabric backing and cotton branding details, it’s both values-led and ready for everyday school and activity use.

Designed in collaboration with Australian Wildlife Conservancy, each backpack includes a wildlife facts booklet.

Like all our Spencil products, it's made tough to go the distance for our kids. But, like our threatened Aussie wildlife, some special care is needed. Unlike our other standard backpack which has other ingredients to make them even more robust, these bags are not machine washable.
